What a week to go on vacation!  Trump assassination attempt.  Court rules Jack Smith is illegally appointed and judge dismisses Trump Classified Document Case.  Trump names JD Vance as his Vice Presidential Running Mate.  Biden is hiden again, with Covid for the 3rd time even though he has been jabbed at least 7 times.  I don’t discuss any of this on this week’s show because I am on vacation.  Tune in next week and we will discuss it.  I hope you enjoy this week’s overview of Real Estate in California and why owning Real Estate is still important.

The left continues to take over the English language in an effort to control Americans.  There latest is “deep fake”.  A deep fake is an unedited video that you can see with your own eyes that portrays something the left does not like or want you to see.  This is almost as amazing their phrase “climate change”.  Climate change is amazing because it can used for any event that happens.  A forest fire caused by a failure to maintain the forest is climate change.  A beach closure in California because the 70 year old storm drains have not been maintained is climate change.  If it is hot this week, climate change.  If it is unseasonably cold this week, climate change.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right side of Real Estate.

The rest of the nation is laughing at California and our “High Speed” rail.  With $11 billion spent so far and a projected $23 billion more needed to complete the first phase, from somewhere near Bakersfield to somewhere near Merced, this makes the cost nearly $38,000 per foot.  20 times the cost of building new 4 lane freeways per mile.  Interest rates for mortgages dropped slightly this week.  The CPUC adopted a new flat fee for residential customers in addition to the cost of the electricity used.  This will take effect later this year.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.
