17 days after the election and California is still counting votes.  Why would that lead anybody to distrust our election integrity.  California passed 30 billion in new borrowing/bonds on a state wide level, not counting all of the local bond measures.  We still have the worst roads and schools in the nation.  It is not about money.  Interest rates remain in mid 6% level and housing sales continue to limp along.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.

Newsom announced a new legislative investigative committee this week to determine why California has the 2nd highest electricity prices in the nation.  Hint, it might have something to do with the actual cost of the “clean”  green solar and wind power added to the grid.   This is after his victory dance a week ago for enacting a law that will force the remaining gas refineries in California to go out of business over the next decade.  I said it before and I will say it again.  If we want to end gender mutilating surgeries and chemical treatment of minors in California and the nation all we need is for Trump to propose more men in women’s locker rooms and sports and to support the sex change surgeries for children paid for by the government.  The left will immediately be against it.  Need proof?  Look at their position on “War Hawks” like Liz Cheney.  The left suddenly supports the rich sending our children to endless wars.

King Newsom signed legislation last week controlling how the remaining refineries in California operate.  Phillips 66 immediately announced the closing of their Southern California refinery in 2025 which produces 8% of our dwindling supply of gasoline.  Newsom said it is time to stop Big Oil from “screwing” the public.  I will be doing a special podcast on the Propositions on the November ballot this week.  It is time to stop feeding the pig.  We are taxed enough already.  Stop approving new Bonds.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.
