The California legislature is now on summer break.  But not before the Democrats in the Assembly had to quickly change course on a bill that would send sex traffic offenders to prison for years.  Even King Newsom recognized the bad optics of the Democrats claiming that this was just another way to punish minorities.  Meanwhile in the news the leftist are proclaiming that the new movie “The Sound of Freedom” is a right wing conspiracy about non-existent sex trafficking.   In real estate related legislation the bills designed to allow apartments to be built anywhere in any zoning are moving forward again after dropping areas controlled by the Coastal Commission.  Interest rates trended slightly lower this week, still above 6.5% and home sales remain strong.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.
