Pride to me is an accomplishment earned by doing something worthy. D-Day soldiers, young men who were brave enough to risk their lives and die fighting for our freedom creates a since of pride. Someone wanting me to acknowledge their sexual preference is not worthy of the word pride. San Francisco considers charging property owners $100 per “curb cut” per year as a tax for having cars. Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer states that having High Speed Rail from somewhere near Bakersfield to somewhere near Merced will help connect Fresno to the rest of the state.
