This is my take on the 10 California Propositions.  Several people have asked me how I am voting.  This short podcast explains why I am voting no on all Propositions except Proposition 34 and 36.  I also threw in a short message from Governor Newsom that everyone needs to hear.

King Newsom signed legislation last week controlling how the remaining refineries in California operate.  Phillips 66 immediately announced the closing of their Southern California refinery in 2025 which produces 8% of our dwindling supply of gasoline.  Newsom said it is time to stop Big Oil from “screwing” the public.  I will be doing a special podcast on the Propositions on the November ballot this week.  It is time to stop feeding the pig.  We are taxed enough already.  Stop approving new Bonds.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.

Not content with the legislature telling grocery stores how many employees they need to man self check out lanes, Lame Duck Newsom has called for a special legislative session to address the high cost of gas in California.  His proposed solution..  tell the refineries how much reserves they must keep.  30 year mortgages stay in the low 6% and high 5% range.
