Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  Honoring all who have given their lives for our freedoms and our country.  Many of those who died would not recognize the country we are becoming.  California has become a one party nearly Satanist state.  California leaders celebrate the murder of unborn children, the mutilation and castration of children.  The California legislature (Democrats) refused to pass a bill requiring illegal immigrant child molester/rapist to be turned over to ICE.  The US Justice department is practicing lawfare against their political enemies.  (Trump)  With all of that said we have a wonderful state and our nation has been among the freest in the world.  If you don’t like what is going on quit voting Democrat.  Hold the Republican’s feet to the fire and make them vote their values.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.

The rest of the nation is laughing at California and our “High Speed” rail.  With $11 billion spent so far and a projected $23 billion more needed to complete the first phase, from somewhere near Bakersfield to somewhere near Merced, this makes the cost nearly $38,000 per foot.  20 times the cost of building new 4 lane freeways per mile.  Interest rates for mortgages dropped slightly this week.  The CPUC adopted a new flat fee for residential customers in addition to the cost of the electricity used.  This will take effect later this year.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.

Mortgage interest rates spiked this week on inflation reports.  Spending trillions more than you collect has consequences.  The left claims that California is the jewel of freedom and democracy.  The California Attorney General Rob Bonta sues Hunting Beach for passing an initiative requiring voter id and cameras on ballot drop boxes as well as school districts that allow parental notification of sex changes by their children.  Bonta has filed a lawsuit to keep a proposition off the ballot that would reinstitute the Proposition 13 requirement of a 2/3 majority to raise taxes.  So much for Democracy.  We discuss all of this and more on this week’s Real Talk.  Real Talk is the Right side of Real Estate.
